El Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Forenses (Inacif) confirmó la tarde de este sábado que el cuerpo encontrado en el proyecto Canaán, en la autopista 6 de Noviembre, pertenece a la niña Willenni Lorenzo Herrera, quien fue reportada desaparecida el 20 de julio.
El cuerpo pudo ser identificado por una foto de la dentadura que sus padres facilitaron a las autoridades de Inacif y por un accesorio que tenía, según confirmó a Diario Libre la madre de la menor, Nicaury Herrera.
Debido al avanzado estado de descomposición el cadáver de la niña fue entregado a sus familiares, quienes le darán sepultura hoy mismo en el cementerio de Cambita, provincia San Cristóbal, de donde es oriunda la fallecida y su familia.
La tarde de ayer fue hallado un cuerpo en el Proyecto Canaán, de la autopista 6 de Noviembre, en un barranco que termina en un arroyo.
La menor residía en La Piña, Madre Vieja Norte, en la provincia San Cristóbal.
El acusado de la desaparición de Willeni es Juan Alberto Sánchez Nival, alias «Bruly», contra quien dictaron tres meses de prisión preventiva como medida de coerción. Está acusado de violación sexual a otra menor.
Según versiones preliminares, Juan Alberto Sánchez Nival lanzó el cuerpo de Willenny dentro de un saco en el lugar donde fue hallado. En la zona existen solares baldíos y unos pocos están ocupados por empresas y garajes para camiones.
